Super Summer Learning Adventures

Reading over the summer helps children retain what they learned in school, preventing the “summer slide”. Engaging with books over the summer is a powerful tool in maintaining and advancing reading skills, ensuring a smooth transition into the next school year.

Summer reading supports critical thinking and investigative skills, enhances vocabulary, early math, and STEAM learning, and reinforces comprehension skills, turning the break into a period of continuous learning. It’s an opportunity to explore subjects of interest, spend time together as a family and build a routine of daily reading that benefits academic performance.

The Super Summer Learning Adventures Program activates summer learning in the home and helps prepare children, aged pre-K – 2nd grade, for the school year ahead. It’s a great option for back to school events, Head Start graduation ceremonies, summer programming, and more!
